FACILITY EXPANSION
Bovard Studio has recently completed a 12,000 square feet expansion to its 20 acre campus outside of Fairfield Iowa providing Bovard Studio with a total of 62,000 sq ft of studio space.
The building expansion was based upon the increased demand for Bovard Studio's patented vented framing system that allows stained glass windows to avoid factors that can prematurely age or damage windows: solar gain and condensation. Bovard Studio's framing system also received hurricane status certification in Miami/Dade County Florida, the highest US standard. The new production area includes state-of-the-art metal saws, bending equipment and a paint booth. The paint booth will allow Bovard Studio to create frames in any custom color.
The building was financed locally by Iowa State Bank and Trust Company of Fairfield and Access Energy Cooperatives Revolving Loan Fund.
