Final photos of a custom designed transom window for St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Because this window will be installed indoors and viewed from both sides, careful consideration in glass selection, paint application and lead placement were of extreme importance in order to maximize the light it will receive.

No detail is overlooked. Here are few shots of our incredible team members from over the years working on different projects in various stages of the restoration and creation process. Each project is carefully documented and photographed to provide the production team with important details like lead width and paint details. We make every effort to retain and repair original pieces to respect the integrity of the original stained glass window but our artists can recreate pieces if the damage cannot be repaired. Enthralling Custom Stained Glass

Bovard Studio custom designed, painted, crafted, and installed six full-figure stained glass windows for Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church in Byers, CO in 2012. The figures are painted in multiple firings to achieve depth and the architectural border provides a traditional framing element.

Limitless Possibilities in Bovard Stained Glass

The panoramic Nativity window Bovard Studio custom created for Waterloo Westminster Church in Iowa covers the entire length of the church. It is mirrored by another lengthy series of panels featuring Creation. The church hosts a number of windows that the studio has designed and built over the years, bathing the interior with a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the day. The Holy Spirit Window in particular bathes the front of the sanctuary in light because of its unique angle. We take pride in complete and world-class stained glass services from concept to installation.
