No detail is overlooked. Here are few shots of our incredible team members from over the years working on different projects in various stages of the restoration and creation process. Each project is carefully documented and photographed to provide the production team with important details like lead width and paint details. We make every effort to retain and repair original pieces to respect the integrity of the original stained glass window but our artists can recreate pieces if the damage cannot be repaired. Plating for Custom Stained Glass Window
Take a look at the back-side of our custom stained glass window we made for a church in Edisto Island, SC. Different techniques are used specifically on this exterior-facing side. Plating, or the stacking of multiple glass layers has been used to obtain a unique glass color. Obscuring white, which is a thin layer of paint, is used to make the flesh pieces more opaque and eye-catching.
