We had the pleasure of restoring, resizing and even reinventing their former historic building's stained glass for their new church. We are happy to announce Bovard Studio has recently completed a 12,000 square feet expansion to its 20 acre campus outside of Fairfield Iowa now with a total of 62,000 square feet of manufacturing and studio space. The building expansion was necessary due to increased demand for our US patented vented framing systems that are designed to preserve stained glass windows by mitigating condensation and solar gain that prematurely age and damage stained glass windows.

Our hard-working field crew complete the final touches on Bovard Studio’s restoration project. Here is the installation of the restored windows and new frames with Bovard’s patented ventilation system for Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Staten Island, NY.
The new frames and protective covering Bovard Studio fabricated and installed for St. Michael’s in Kingsley, Iowa look stunning on the church’s exterior. 40+ windows received our 1400 Series vented perimeter US Patented frames with exterior glazing designed for the preservation of stained glass windows.
The panoramic Nativity window Bovard Studio custom created for Waterloo Westminster Church in Iowa covers the entire length of the church. It is mirrored by another lengthy series of panels featuring Creation. The church hosts a number of windows that the studio has designed and built over the years, bathing the interior with a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the day. The Holy Spirit Window in particular bathes the front of the sanctuary in light because of its unique angle. A massive compound gothic frame has been custom built with a thermal-barrier aluminum frame with Bovard Studio’s US patented ventilation system designed for the preservation of stained glass windows and installed for Lisbon United Methodist Church in Iowa. The skilled field crew from Bovard Studio carefully operate heavy equipment to lower the frame pieces into the opening. The frame will then receive both interior and exterior heavy wood cladding. Afterward, the restored stained glass panels will be installed one by one.
