Bovard Studio Expands

We are happy to announce Bovard Studio has recently completed a 12,000 square feet expansion to its 20 acre campus outside of Fairfield Iowa now with a total of 62,000 square feet of manufacturing and studio space. The building expansion was necessary due to increased demand for our US patented vented framing systems that are designed to preserve stained glass windows by mitigating condensation and solar gain that prematurely age and damage stained glass windows.

Lauren is a recent hire at Bovard Studio learning the ins and outs of stained glass. With a background in painting, she is equipped with an eye for detail in this ancient medium. About her discovering Bovard Studio she remarks, “I heard about Bovard Studio from a friend in town that mentioned there was a painting position available which caught my interest. Knowing I would be moving to town soon I went in to introduce myself, not knowing really anything about stained glass. They had me in for a ‘build test’ and I started about a month later!”. We are lucky to have her on board and have a staff full of talented individuals. Bovard Hires Excellence in Stained Glass

Bovard Studio welcomes a Production Assistant with extensive experience in stained glass— Alesha Hall hailing from New York. Alesha has explored many art mediums and spent time as an educator in art history, graphic design, and photography. She dabbled in painting, illustration, ceramics, and metalworking, but nothing compares to the engrossing challenges and sense of accomplishment she finds in the medium of stained glass. Alesha enjoys the rich history embedded in stained glass and joins the ranks of many dedicated to preserving this wondrous art form. Hiring New Positions in Stained Glass Studio

Bovard Studio is an award-winning art glass studio that has been operating continuously in Southeast Iowa for more than 35 years. We are hiring new positions, including for our unique, certified Apprenticeship Program, which will cover a wide range of techniques in stained glass window construction and installation. Announcing Apprenticeship Program

Bovard Studio is happy to announce our receipt of the Coronavirus Relief Fund Earn and Learn Grant Award, which will allow us to take on ten apprentices in our Registered Apprenticeship Program. Our apprentices will be working with experienced journeymen and master craftspersons to learn the highly specialized skills of stained-glass creation, repair and installation. We are currently accepting applicants general on our website at bovardstudioinc.com/employment.

Bovard Studio is a provider of rewarding jobs in stained glass restoration and installation. We are currently seeking qualified CDL drivers, field restoration crafts persons and installation crew members. Our Field Crew position is full time where you will be restoring stained glass windows in churches and historical facilities, nationwide. Traveling construction jobs include every third week off, overtime, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave and benefits such as health insurance and 401k.
